Thrust vectoring Elevator Servo Installation -

MIG29 Elevator Servo Setup

Here you can see the Servo tray, the two servos controling the Elevator and the reciever I velcroed to the side of the body.

Aileron serovs installation -

MIG29 Aileron Servos

Securing the Servos in place:

I used low temo hot glue gun to glue them in place. the way to do this is:

Step 1:

Wrap the servo in tape.

Step 2:

Using the low temp hot glue gun dab both sides with glue and slide into place. Dab the servo not the foam.

Step 3: secure with additional glue on both sides of the servo.

Pushrods:

I am using a Dubro 20" Micro Pushrod system that i find works great. I use this for the Elevators with the sleevs.

Once the serovs are installed connect the control horns to the control surfaces. Here I also like to use the Dubro Control horns as i stick them through the foam and then hot glue them from both sides for a good hold.

Pushrod & Control horn installation -

Step 1 -

Locate where to place the control horn and push it through the foam.

Step 2 -

Connect pushrod and EZ connector to servo and make sure everything is working without interference with full range of motion.

Step 3 -

Remove horn from foam and put a drop of hot glue in the hole in the foam and push the control horn through the hole. finish up with some hot glue on the the other side.

** Dont forget to hold the control horn in place while glue cools.
