Ok, so we have burned the plane, two speed controllers and have finally got the thing to fly.

Conclusion - listen to the manufacturer :) and RTFM of all your componants

MIG-39

Large Profile MIG-29 nicknamed MIG 39

This plane is based on the RCPowers MIG 29 with modifications for size. it is using the same Grayson Hobbies Mega Jet V2 engine with 30 Amp ESC, Prop 6X4 thin electric.

I have been making the folowing changes -

1. Added KF airfoil - the plane flys lighter and more responsive.
2. Changed the Prop to a 6 X 5.5 - more power drawing 25Amps but still feels like its screaming too much
3. Changed prop to 7X5 Electric - wasnt able to find a 7X4 so had to go with this one. it draws more them 30Amps so i hade to limit the end point in the radio (Throttle) to about 60%. The plane flew great but the when landed wasn't able to touch the engine it was Too HOT.
4. I have ordered new speed controlles and a new TURINGY motor Specs
   1. Hobbyking SS Series 50-60A ESC
   2. TR 35-30A 1700kv Brushless Outrunner (Eq AXi 2808)
